Belgrade - Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic met today with the Head of EULEX, Yves de Kermabon, in the framework of de Kermabon’s farewell visit to Belgrade.

In a frank discussion, Minister Bogdanovic and Chief EULEX exchanged impressions and observations on their cooperation so far. Minister Bogdanovic said that Belgrade will remain a principled and constructive partner as long as the EU mission adheres to its status neutral mandate.

Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic expressed concern over the recent unilateral acts undertaken by Pristina, which directly violate basic human rights of Kosovo Serbs and generate to serious security issues. The outgoing EULEX Head Yves de Kermabon reiterated that the issue of mobile phones falls outside the EULEX competence but stressed readiness on the part of the EU mission to, also with the new leadership, continue their principled work on the establishment and respect for the rule of law in Kosovo and Metohija.
