Belgrade - Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic talked with the head of EULEX Xavier Bu de Marnhac.

In an open and friendly conversation with the Head of EULEX Bu De Marnhac, Minister Bogdanovic said that it serves the interest of Serbia that the EULEX mission be as successful as possible and help maintain peace and stability in Kosovo and Metohija, noting that as long as the EU mission upholds its mandate and status neutrality, operating within the framework of Resolution 1244, it will have a reliable and predictable partner in Belgrade.

Minister Bogdanovic informed the Head of EULEX of the present challenges triggered by Pristina’s unilateral moves, and of the possible risks and consequences that they might bring about. Head of EULEX Xavier Bu De Marnhac stressed the need of continued communication as the best ways to improve collaboration, prevent and overcome problems in the field.

Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic and the Head of EULEX Xavier Bu de Marnhac agreed that among the main objectives requiring joint cooperation of the EU mission and Serbia is a more efficient fight against organized crime.
