Substantive normalization of relations can only take place through a political process between Belgrade and Priština, and therefore the importance of the dialogue. Accordingly, our struggle to normalize relations is a struggle for a normal life of the Albanians as well, not just of the Serbs. We expect both Priština and the international community to fulfill their respective portions of responsibility, i.e. facilitate full implementation of the Brussels Agreement. For those banished from Kosovo and Metohija we will have a comprehensive plan and an offer enabling them to plan their future by factoring in a possibility of continuing their lives in Kosovo and Metohija, with a quality place of residence, job and access to basic state services.

Belgrade, 21 July 2014 – Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić met with the newly appointed British Ambassador in Belgrade, H.E. Denis Keef. They discussed the process of European integrations and underlined the great importance of a swift resumtion of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

PRIŠTINA – Following their meeting in the EU Office in Priština, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić and Belgrade's Liaison Officer in Priština Dejan Pavićević visited the Church of St. Nicholas, where they were greeted by the Rector of Priština, priest Stevo Mitrić, and then they took a walk in the Priština downtown. Director Đurić is the first Serbian official who went for a walk around Priština and had lunch in a downtown restaurant.
