Department for the Care of Cultural Heritage and Cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church

Department for the Care of Cultural Heritage and Cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church carries out activities related to:

• Monitoring the situation, analyzing needs and proposing measures for promoting the cultural heritage in Kosovo and Metohija;
• Monitoring and promoting situation in the area of protection of cultural heritage in Kosovo and Metohija;
• Functioning of the cultural institutions of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija;
• Cultural politics, media, religious affairs, reconstruction of cultural and spiritual heritage of Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and Metohija, support to the persistence of the SOC in Kosovo and Metohija, monitoring the use of Serbian language in the media, legal status of media outlets;
• Monitoring, promoting, protecting and providing care of the cultural and natural heritage in Kosovo and Metohija;
• Cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church, and other activities under the scope of the Department.
