The Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Dušan Kozarev, handed over two cows and five sheep this morning to Milan Kovačević from the village of Banje near Srbica, located in Kosovo and Metohija, and reiterated that the goal of the President, Aleksandar Vučić and the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djurić, is to secure “staying, subsistence and development” of Serbs on their own land.

“President Vučić and Director Djurić have a great desire and honest intention when it comes to Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija and the notion of having the fate in their own hands, to live on their land, to stay, subsist and to develop as true householders”, Kozarev declared during his visit to the household of Milan Kovačević.

Furthermore, he informed that he was feeling honored that, after Kovačević drew Vučić’s and Djurić’s attention during the talk with the citizens in Laplje Selo on January 20, he was able to present to him “in the shortest possible time” two cows and five sheep, which were donated by the benefactors in cooperation with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Kozarev stressed out that we should help the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija as much as we can in order for them to prosper and to become even better and more successful.

“It is our duty to help them as much as we can, and we will be able to do it more than ever before”, Kozarev emphasized.

He expressed his pleasure to meet a “young man” who wanted to become “a householder and master of his land“ two years ago, who now got to see his wish come true.

Kozarev said that Milan Kovačević represented a symbolic example, which should be followed by many more “Milans and many more of our fellow countrymen in Kosovo and Metohija, with us giving them our comprehensive help” in order for them to continue developing, live a normal life and build a successful future in Kosovo and Metohija.

Kovačević (23) stated that Vučić promised, during the talks in Laplje Selo, to help him “in any time of the day”.

He thanked everyone who helped him to stay in his hearth, in the village of Banje.
